I Hope These Are Healing For You
Going Through Rough Times
Everybody goes through rough times. Finances, marriage, work, kids, family, emotional stress, the list goes on and on. None of God's children are immune to life's troubles, and God often uses those times to test us, refine us, and bring us closer to him. Consider it pure joy, my brothers, James 1:2- 3)
Guilt Over Sin
Guilt is a powerful tool in satan's arsenal. He uses guilt to stop us from doing what God has asked us to do (what we FEEL God has asked us to do), or he keeps us depressed and down in the dumps about our past, or keeps us feeling unworthy to receive his grace and love.
Paul gives us hope in Romans: But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. (Romans 3:21-22)

Living a Godly Life
Every Christian in the world needs an encouraging bible verse about living a Godly life. There isn't a day goes by that we don't screw up in some form or another. Sometimes the sin is "big", other times it is "small" (from our perspective) but it is all sin in God's eyes. These words are easier said than done, but they are the truth nonetheless.
This is what James has to say about living a Godly life: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. (James 4:7-10)
Trouble at Work
Do I know about trouble at work. I directly manage eight employees and oversee processes and programs that are used by hundreds of government employees. Stress is a big part of my life. Too big, in fact. I need to put these encouraging bible verses into practice every day. Sometimes I'm successful, other times...not so much.
David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished." (1 Chronicles 28:20)
